For Slithering Solutions – Snake & Reptile Removal Services
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by Slithering Solutions ("we", "us", "our") to any person or entity requesting snake or reptile removal, inspection, or related services ("client", "you").
By requesting our services, contacting us, or allowing us onto your property, you agree to these Terms.
2. Nature of Services
Slithering Solutions provides:
- Snake removal and relocation
- Reptile removal (non-snake)
- Estate and commercial inspections
- Risk assessments
- Conservation-aligned relocation where appropriate
All services are conducted under applicable permits and in accordance with recognised conservation practices.
We do not guarantee:
- The permanent absence of snakes from any property
- That relocated animals will not return
- That all wildlife on a property will be detected during an inspection
Wildlife movement is natural and unpredictable.
3. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate location and access details
- Ensure safe access to the property
- Keep pets, children and bystanders at a safe distance
- Disclose any known hazards (dogs, weapons, electrical risks, etc.)
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service where safety is compromised.
4. Pricing & Payment
- Pricing is confirmed before work begins.
- Final cost may vary depending on distance, access conditions, and risk level.
- Additional charges may apply for after-hours, excessive travel distance, or elevated risk.
- Payment is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Failure to pay may result in recovery action.
5. Risk & Liability
While we take all reasonable care:
- Wildlife removal carries inherent risk.
- Snakes and reptiles are unpredictable.
- Property damage may occur during access to confined spaces.
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
- We are not liable for pre-existing property damage.
- We are not liable for bites or injuries sustained before our arrival.
- We are not liable where a client attempts self-removal before or after our visit.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence where such exclusion is unlawful.
6. Relocation & Conservation
Animals are relocated where appropriate and feasible in accordance with permit conditions and conservation best practice.
We cannot guarantee:
- Survival of relocated animals
- That relocated animals will not re-enter urban areas
- That ecological outcomes are predictable
7. Access & Property Damage
Reasonable effort will be made to minimise disruption.
Where access requires:
- Moving items
- Opening ceiling panels
- Entering roof spaces
- Shifting debris
We are not responsible for restoring concealed areas to original cosmetic condition.
8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Road closures
- Civil unrest
- Load shedding or communication outages
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
10. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.
